The reaping

Where the reaping happens

              In the Hunger Games as of right now Katniss is in the woods with her best friend Gale which is outsdie of the the district and it is a big risk. They are thinking about runing away and living in the woods and just survivng on the land, but Katniss says no she cant she has to stay with Prim and protect her. They head back in town now to trade some fish for some fresh bread before the reaping.

               Katniss is now home and is getting Prim and herself ready to look there best for the reaping. Everytime that anybody in the district needs food they get there name put in the bucket in which they draw from to determine who will represent each district. They have to get in groups by age during the reaping. The host of the reaping tells this story and then they get to the reaping. she puts her hand in the bowl and sturs it around and calls out Prim Rose Everdeen, everyone goes silent. then in the crowd katnis screams "I volunteer as tribute". then everyone looks and katniss takes Prims spot as the girl represented for district 12.
